History of music....=]

I have explored the history of music and have found that music was recorded for the first time in 1900 using a gramaphone invented by Edison. In 1930s people started wtaching Soundies which were 3 minute musical films. Then in the 1960s Scopitones came out and this was similar to a jukeboxs but with videos. There has been huge changes in the musical landscape. In the past there was only one dominant genre. People were going through the rock phase and then moved on to another phase. Everyone listened to the same type of music but now there is no dominant genre and everyone listens to the type of music they enjoy.There is now more demand for niche outlets.
